Crossed Paths Unseen Thoughts

Crossed Paths Unseen Thoughts [view online]

The Berwick Film Project was devised in response to a request from day centre users at Berwick Northstar Centre to make a film about their experiences of bullying and discrimination that they could show to young people. This group of 12 adults with a wide range of learning disabilities from the Northstar Centre and calling themselves Way Up North, wanted to challenge young people’s perceptions of learning disability and create greater understanding of people who are seen as ‘different’ in society and to address issues of peer pressure.

A film by Way Up North, Berwick Middle School and Headway Arts with support from staff and participants at Northstar Berwick; Staff and pupils at Berwick Middle School; Staff and participants at Headway Arts.
This film was made possible thanks to the generous support of
The Greggs Foundation
The Northern Angel Fund for Berwick
The Smail Family Fund
